James Madison guard Debbie Smith has transferred to North Carolina A&T.Smith, the Peninsula District Player of the Year in 2010, scored a total of 70 points in two years at JMU. The 5-10 guard must sit out the 2012-13 season due to NCAA rules. She will have two years of eligibility remaining.
The Aggies recently hired coach Tarrell Robinson, a former assistant to Pat Bibbs at the school. Bibbs is now the head coach at Grambling.
