ODU's Tia Lewis suits up for pro career in Israel
How do you spell Lewis in Hebrew? Check out Tia Lewis' new uniform above. The former Old Dominion star is in Israel, beginning her professional career with Elitzur Netanya. Her teammates include VCU's Courtney Hurt and Richmond's Abby Oliver. Games begin Nov. 5. LadySwish wishes them all a successful season!

Well let hope for the sake of her new team she brings something more than a army of 1 mentality where her selfish attitude w/ ODU turned a (2010) 20-11 team into a 11-21 (2011) - for all to remember that is her true legacy @ ODU - the record for most loses in a season. Thanks Tia & let's hope a true competitor like Courtney Hurt doesn't strangle you after the 1st week.

ReplyDeleteWe beg to differ at LadySwish. Without Lewis, ODU might have won as few as a half dozen games. We also recall a 5-21 season in 1990-91.
We wish Lewis well during her pro career and look forward to the Lady Monarch season.
