Sunday's previews and picks

Old Dominion (4-3) at Richmond (5-4), noon
The Lady Monarchs have won 21 straight against their former CAA rivals and hold a 22-3 advantage in the series, but that will mean nothing today as the teams haven't met since 2001. Considerably more relevant are the facts that the Spiders are unbeaten at home (3-0) while the Lady Monarchs are winless on the road (0-2). In fact, ODU hasn't won a non-conference road game since the 2008-09 season.  Richmond 67, ODU 65

Ohio (2-6) at George Mason (3-5), 2 p.m.
On Thursday, the Patriots played an excellent 40-minute game in dispatching Stony Brook. Now let's see if they can string two such games like that together. George Mason 58, Ohio 48

James Madison (5-3) at Middle Tennessee St (6-3)., 1:30 p.m.
This one should be a lot of fun to watch as both teams thrive in an uptempo game. Dawn Evans' health has been an issue of late, so here's hoping she's feeling well for what amounts to the Clarksville, Tenn. native's homecoming game. JMU 77, MTSU 71
