The James Madison schedule is finally out. We were starting to wonder if the Dukes were actually going to play any games this season.
To be fair, no one rolls out their schedule in October by design. So while we're not sure what caused the delay, we suspect one or more last-minute scheduling conflicts caused turned an already arduous task into a flat-out nightmare. Besides, those of us who were really, really interested had used everyone else's schedule to pretty much piece together JMU's anyway.
No need for that now, though, because the Dukes have finally weighed in.
In other JMU news, the Virginian-Pilot reports that the Dukes got a verbal commitment from Lake Taylor High star Toia Giggetts. Two other players off that squad, Linda Stepney and Crystal Leary, have committed to West Virginia for 2011. And a fourth, Breshara Gordon, is entering her freshman season at Radford.
No wonder the Titans won the Group AAA state title.
