4. "Sinking" a free throw? C'mon, it's not a ship.

3. "Draining" a 3. Liquid Plumber anyone?

5 arenas that rock when they're full
(OK, we'd love to see all 13 full......)

Cassell Coliseum
 5. Echols Arena, Norfolk State - From jammin' tunes to people dancing in the aisles, a packed Echols emits the vibe of your favorite club.

4. Siegel Center, Richmond - Provides an electric atmosphere for the high school state finals and the CAA men's tournament.

3. Cassell Coliseum, Blacksburg - Rabid Hokies fans have the potential to turn Cassell into the most intimidating women's hoops venue in the ACC. That's right, we said it. Tougher than Duke. Tougher than Maryland. The toughest.

2. JMU Convocation Center, Harrisonburg: The best band in the state and Duke Dawg reading night can make you reach for the earplugs.

1. Constant Center, Norfolk: We're still partial to the Field House. But on a good night, this place is ice cream and cake, cake, cake sweet.

5 storylines of the season

Hampton - We are the champions!
 5. How will defending MEAC tournament champion Hampton handle being "the hunted" this season?

4. What used to be a one-horse race in the CAA is up for grabs with defending tournament champion JMU in the hunt, along with stalwart ODU and a Delaware team led by the remarkable Elena Delle Donne

3. She was a super freshman. Can Liberty's Devon Brown be as dominant her sophomore season?

2. Dawn Evans battled kidney problems her junior year and talk looms of a transplant. Can the JMU guard stay healthy enough to play a full senior season?

1. Virginia has a healthy China Crosby back, and Virginia Tech boasts some intriguing young talent. But can the state's teams keep pace in a what appears to be a much-improved ACC?
5 reasons to check LadySwish every day

5. We preview every game in the state.

4. Same-night results (usually).

3. You'll never forget a birthday (unless you're a Longwood fan. We don't have all of those).

2. We think we're funny -- sometimes.

1. Nobody does women's hoops in Virginia any better.

Now, enjoy the games!
