Hampton strikes again on recruiting front

ESPN Boston reports that Tianna Johnson, a 5-6 guard out of New Mission High in Massachusetts, is expected to sign with Hampton on Wednesday. Johnson averaged 22 points, 7 assists and 6 steals while leading her team to the 2011 state championship game.

"I expect Tianna to go to Hampton and contribute right away," said Cory McCarthy, Johnson's AAU coach. "She's a Division I point guard with undeniable court vision and ballhandling. You can quote me on this - she has the hands of a bear, and that allows her to dribble the ball like a magician."

Hands of a bear?
