The kid never misses!

Earlier this week in our Silent Majority rankings of the top 25 non-BCS teams, we mentioned that Bowling Green's Lauren Prochaska had made 61 straight free throws. Well Thursday night at Western Kentucky, she went 6-for-6 from the line to break the Division I record for consecutive free throws. The old mark was 66 in a row by Richmond's Ginny Doyle in 1991-92. Doyle is currently in her 12th season as a Richmond assistant coach.

By the way, if tonight's results are any indication, Prochaska's shooting touch may be contagious. The Falcons as a team were 15-of-15 from the line in Thursday's 72-68 victory.
