Let's see...Radford's Da'Naria Erwin Spencer scored 21 points in a victory at then-Big South unbeaten High Point on Saturday, then poured in 18 of her 24 in the second half to rally the Highlanders from an 8-point deficit to a win two nights later at Campbell. Has averaged 20.2 points during Radford's current five-game winning streak. Oh, and she scored her 1,000th career point in that Campbell game.
Sounds like a player of the week to us.
The Big South agreed, tabbing Erwin Spencer with
its weekly honor for the second week in a row, the fourth time this season and the seventh time in the last two years.
Coastal Carolina's Shatia Cole was named the league's rookie of the week.
