We're thrilled that Chelsie Schweers finally got her No. 11 jersey (that was her lucky number at Christopher Newport), and we're happier that she scored 15 for Panathinkaikos, a winner on Saturday. Don't forget to check out her blog on CNU's website on Monday (we hear she's tickled to finally get that DVD player running).
On a side note, we only wish her Lady Captains would have come out winners, too. Greensboro College spoiled a magnificent rally by the Captains with a 35-footer at the buzzer. Final score of 57-54 knocks CNU out of first in the USA South Conference.
