Sweet 16 for Schweers in Greece

We're thrilled for Christopher Newport graduate Chelsie Schweers, who scored 16 points (including four treys) in Panathinaikos's win over Asteras in what was Schweers' professional debut. Schweers, by the way, is blogging for the CNU website weekly (new one should be up Monday) and it's a great read. The Hickory High (Chesapeake) School graduate is the first CNU women's player to play professionally and the only Division III player on a Greek roster.

She's soaking up life in Greece, still getting used to the time change that has her wired into the wee small hours of the morning.

We're looking forward to following Chelsie this season as she continues to live the dream.
