Bizarre JMU-UConn connection
Did James Madison help UConn land Rebecca Lobo? Not exactly. But in his latest blog entry, Mel Greenberg recounts how JMU's historic upset of No. 1 Penn State in the 1991 NCAA Tournament paved the way for a Huskies run that got them in tight with the eventual national player of the year.
