All credit to UConn (30-0) and its magical streak of winning 69 straight games preserved on Monday with a victory at Notre Dame, but does every word from the ESPN booth have to be about it? If you watched Monday's telecast of the Huskies versus the Irish on ESPN2, commentators Bob Wischusen and Carolyn Peck wouldn't let you escape the streak for one possession. So many great stories on both teams, but all talk, stats and graphics centered around the streak.
Great streak, Huskies. But guess what, ESPN? We know, we know, we know. And if you haven't had enough, "The Climb: UConn's Quest for Perfection," airs twice (3:30 pm, 11:30 p.m.) Friday on ESPNU.
