We haven't forgotten you, Lady Flames.
Liberty (20-9) wrapped up the regular season with a 49-40 victory on Monday over Presbyterian. The Lady Flames had already clinched the top seed in the Big South tournament and will play No. 8 Coastal Carolina (10-18) at noon Friday in the Millis Center in High Point.
The No. 1 seed has always mean good things to Liberty, going for its fourth straight title. The Lady Flames have won the tournament all 11 times they have been the top seed. Liberty has won the last 35 against Coastal.
If seeds hold, the final will be an all-Virginia deal. Radford (14-15) received the second seed, holding the tiebreaker over Gardner-Webb by virtue of the Highlanders splitting with Liberty during the regular season. The Bulldogs were swept by Liberty.
The Highlanders meet Winthrop (12-17), a team they split with during the regular season.
